Hiya, I’m Kez and I live just outside Dover, Kent with my husband and two small daughters. I have been baking since I was a girl, as my mum is a fab baker and worked for years in the food industry. As a teenager I would make cakes, treats and desserts for fun and also to sell for various charity fundraisers.
As an adult, I’ve enjoyed making birthday and christening cakes for friends and family. I most enjoy cakes where I can be creative with a theme I’m given and make something extra special. As more and more people asked me to make cakes for them and offering me money to do so, I thought maybe I should try setting myself up as a business. So here I am!
In 2014, I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Since then I have spent a lot of time thinking about and talking about my sugar levels. So when my husband suggested it as a name for my cake business, I couldn’t turn it down!
When I’m not baking, you’ll probably find me with my husband and two young daughters at a park or watching Disney princess movies.
